Requirement
- Understand the ICT distribution ecosystem with knowledge of key distribution processes
- Relationship with vendors and channel partners, specifically in the Compute (Desktop, Laptop) & Print space
- Proven experience in handling channel sales for Laptop, Desktop, Printer, and related IT products and solutions across leading brands
- Target-driven individual with an ability to execute business development activities
- Effectively manage and execute transactions
- Appetite to learn new products & solutions
- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Key responsibilities:
- Align with vendor GTM strategy at a regional level
- Participate in the execution of demand gen, marketing & channel activities and focus on incremental revenue.
- Responsible for driving sales growth through channel partners, managing and expanding the distribution network and fostering strong relationships with Channels.
- Work closely with channel managers, marketing, renewal specialists & business operations to leverage the respective functions
- Maintain and manage a pipeline/funnel that increases the share of business in the region
- Engage in commercial discussion with vendors & channel partners to enable favourable order closures
- Achieve set targets in terms of margins, revenue, profitability and other identified KRAs
