Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical role within the networking industry.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirement:

  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Experience with Extreme Networks products and solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and design appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Networking product certifications are a plus.

Key responsibilities of the job:

  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Extreme Networks products and solutions, including networking hardware, software-defined networking (SDN), cloud-managed networking, and network security.
  • Drive budget discussions/ Proposal Management
  • Pre-sales Support: Collaborate with Inflow & Partner sales team to understand customer requirements and develop customized networking solutions using Extreme Networks products.
  • Solution Design: Design and architect networking solutions based on customer needs, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and security.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of Extreme Networks solutions to prospective clients.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC): Coordinate and support the implementation of PoC projects to validate the effectiveness of Extreme Networks solutions in addressing customer challenges.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical proposals, solution architectures, and other documentation to support the sales process.
  • Training and Enablement: Provide training and enablement sessions to sales teams, partners, and customers on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
